NovaLead Pharma discovers and develops small molecule therapeutic agents capable of multiple mechanism of action for unmet needs and diseases with limited drug options. Researchers at NovaLead believe that multiple mechanism capable agents may render more effective normalization of the biological imbalance caused by a disease as compared to classical target specific drugs.
The research at NovaLead is focused at developing a rapidly growing balanced pipeline with a mix of new chemical entities and new indications for FDA approved drugs. The pipeline includes indications as diverse pancreatic cancer to diabetic wound evidencing the depth of scientific expertise at NovaLead, active participation of its eminent scientific advisory board and the broad-spectrum applicability of NovaLead discovery approach. The preclinical evidence obtained for its candidates gives reason to NovaLead to confidently enter into their clinical investigation.
NovaLead will develop its discoveries up to the proof of concept in animals / upto Phase I. Most of the company's pipeline products will be partnered therafter for further clinical development under structured deal mechanism to generate revenues which are milestone and royalty driven. NovaLead believes that the fastest time to market and commercial opportunity can be realized through such partnerships with large pharmaceutical companies.
With majority of indications qualifying for priority review and fast-track approval from the FDA, the time for NovaLead candidates to reach the market is expected to be within a range of 2 years to 7 years subject to satisfactory completion of clinical investigation. |
