Given the broad spectrum capabilities of its discovery approach, NovaLead has chosen to focus on therapeutic markets where either the needs are unmet or the limitations of existing therapies result in significant commercial opportunity. The pipeline includes large therapeutic areas like the cancer.

At NovaLead, the scientists have developed a novel drug discovery approach employing cutting edge technologies aimed at comprehensive exploration of the chemical space while optimizing time and cost in doing so, accelerating time to reach clinical validation. The cumulative impact of the ability to arrest not useful efforts at an early stage and lower cost in reaching the milestones make company’s research approach more productive.

NovaLead scientists undertake significant experimentation in the simulated environment to try out various ideas for ‘What if analysis’. The discovery process has clearly identified decision points for ‘Go – No Go’ both during the computation and the experimental effort. Given the broad spectrum expertise present in NovaLead in the area of computational drug discovery technologies, laboratory effort is often utilized more as a means of validation of hypothesis than for screening.

This approach to drug discovery is supported by a knowledgeable in-house scientific team, hands-on luminary SAB and enabled by cutting edge technology. Since starting in-house research in November, 2005 the productivity of this approach is evidenced in a promising, novel yet balanced pipeline.

NovaLead stands committed to bring novel therapeutic treatments in areas which have plagued mankind consistently. For the purpose, the pipeline will be taken through the clinical investigation by building partnerships at relevant stages, to access the capabilities and the infrastructure available at large pharmaceutical companies.
